Here's a picture of my 1987 Dakota. It started out life as a 2.2L w/ 5 speed. After some major surgery, the end result is warmed over 360 motor w/ 727 t-flite. A few mods done are Torker intake, 750 vacuum sec. Holley, Lunati Bracket Master cam, Cheetah forward shift manual valve body, Quarter Stick shifter and a roll cage. This is one fun truck to putt around in. Most of the parts in it I bought from fellow Mopar guys through ads from MOPARTS or e-bay items. Everything else was handmade such as the motor plate, ladder bars and wheelie bars. Thanks for letting me share this with MOPARTS!!

Here's my 1972 dodge truck, she's got a 318, long bed.
The easy part is jumping out the drive-thru window. The hard part is getting back in.

Okay... here's a pic of Lulubelle. She has mounts welded in for a 383/727, and runs fenderwell headers. The engine's out right now for overhaul... spun #6 rod insert and clipped some valves.

Here's that set of headers:

And this pic shows why I'm building a new motor.
See the stock shift handle attached to the ratchet shifter? That controls a reverse-pattern manual VB 727.
On an early shakedown run, I found that the weight of the shifter handle held it pinned against the seat under acceleration. So when I slapped it back - it didn't move. As soon as I thought of lifting... I heard that 'hydroplane with its prop out of the water' sound. Floated valves.
Thank heavens for 440 Source!
