Mopar is more interested In the new Fx class and FSS then pro stock and I don’t blame them pro stock is done when it comes on I switch channels get tired of watching pro Chevy mopar QF at the bottom ever race and a 1st round runner up gets old I give Alan all the credit for trying to keep a mopar out there but it’s not going to happen NHRA does not want mopar in pro Chevy why do you think Alan and his dad are no longer racing because mopar said we’re done with pro Chevy I find I am still a big Pro Stock fan and the class seems to be healthy right now. While I root for Alan I tend to view the class more like Top Fuel were everyone runs a Hemi and it is the drivers that make the difference.

Pro Stock, IMHO, is the pinnacle of gasoline powered, naturally aspirated, door slammer drag racing. Anyone who is able to do it successfully deserves some degree of respect. I like Pro Stock. It's a builders/tuners game that also requires a driver who can make perfect runs. Every tiny detail makes a difference. I wish I could learn more about what makes them tick, but that info is kept close to the vest. Being too nosy gets you escorted to the door. Nothing but respect for Alan and his tenacity. He's within a couple MPH which, to me, is no small achievement.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

if 10 million dollars happen to be dumped into Alan's bank account, I bet he would give all in the class a run for there money Yes, 8 million to NHRA for a favorable rule adjustment and 2 million for car improvements/R&D.
'86 Maple Grove KOS Mopar low qualifier......true street legal with no power adders.
NOS-used when losing since 1940.

But Ht2 .... how much did FCA spend being a TITLE SPONSOR of national events this year ? How many did GM do ?
