Dodge said it wants nothing to due with pro stock they talked to NHRA about the class yrs ago and that’s why Allan and his dad pulled out because mopar said we’re done with pro stock and I don’t blame them it’s pro Chevy now they will focus more the new afx class and the FSS class That was a long time ago, but your scenario is probably more likely.

Pro stock will be gone in 3 yrs The class has kind of recieved a boost in entries lately. However with a majority of the cars being owned by Elite and KB I don't know how that works out long term. Especially if Elite won't let anyone beat Erica.

Didnt watch the video
NASCAR = Cars Of Tomorrow
Was supposed to start this past year , but the Covid machine put that in the rear view mirror
So 2022 begins a new chapter for NASCAR These cars will bee totally different in every way
If Dodge was going to make this happen , they have had plenty of time getting these Cars Of Tomorrow ready
Just dont see it happening without any support from Stellantis

So glad I got to see the Dodges run in the 2000's!
What with Covid20-21 and COP26 its a very tricky road ahead for Motorsport.

Would like to see MOPAR back in Pro Stock and back the lone MOPAR in the field! If Mopar put any money in to Drag Racing, it will be the A/FX class

I'm not sure how much support from fans Dodge will get. Look at the constant complaining here about Fiat and now Stellantis. Hell, it's been like 15 years and people still complain about 4-door Chargers . I find it hard to sit down and watch NASCAR anymore, but I'm sure I'll give it a shot if Dodge makes a reappearance. I did in '01 for a couple years.

They call it 550hp package but is it. They use a tapered bore spacer an smaller TB. Then opened ducts and ad more spoiler. So in essence with these changes the car drives and produces lap times as if it only has 550hp. The engine is probably still making 600-625 or even a little more. Would have liked to scene Nascar. Square the engine to 3.85 x 3.85 9.0 on Comp. Limit intake valve to 2.02 and cam lift to say .575 RPM limit of 8000. Use a 5spd for OD on superspeedways. Limit the final gear ratio but let them change gearbox ratios. Then start putting drag on the car and restrictor plates. To adjust for what speeds they want at tracks. They talk about changes save the teams money. That's BS Hendrick TRD Penske Yates are spending just as much now as ever before. Per dollar to HP thats just what they do. Just like the ECUs they hand out at each race. Look at the final race for say the last 5-7yrs. What the hell is the odds that the 4 drivers in championship are always in the top 4-5 at the last race. When all year long they are scatter 1-15 positions at any given race all year long. They are giving the 4 cars in the final something that the other cars aren't getting.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
