Good to see you over here, too, Brad. (we're both vannin.com forum members, representing Mopar) Here's my '77 Dodge Tradesman 200 shorty as of last summer: ...and as it sits now, awaiting final bodywork, then paint: Casey

nice van- 5.9 tb?
Actually, 318 TB. for now. Been tossing around the idea of a 340, maybe next off season.
Happy to be here with you, Casey. I found this site through Vannin.com. It was a paint/bodywork thread.

I bought the most Butt Ugly truck in the world last April and have been putting it back together and collecting parts for it since... I have collected all the parts to get some lights in it for some night driving... My buddies think it's best that I only take it out at night when no one can see it... I ripped some plywood to replace the bed that didn't exist... My home made wiring harness got it running so I could get it around the block... This is in the works for next summer...Yep that's a Hemi going in there... I got a good deal on some new rubbers... It's so Butt Ugly that you got to love it...

Hey 3XCHARM and Robbins... My truck is a late 1955 3/4 ton long box. The early '55 has a flatter windshield and the late '55 has the curvy windshield. In '56 Ma Mopar went 12 volt. I'm half converted from 6v to 12v. Gotta make sure not to turn on the wrong thing or it'll be smokin... You guys have to admit that it has a face only a mother could love!!! Yea Haw...4 on the floor...you old granny you... I have always been the black sheep of the family... Robbins...did I miss it or did you post a pic of your '54. I love those big trucks. Is it a flat bed with dually’s??? 241 Hemi or bigger???

I didn't know vans were allowed... I was working on this thing (at a snail's pace)for a while: Cheapo rebuilt the 318 (with perfromer RPM, Holley 600, summit type cam), had the tranny rebuilt (not cheapo), mounted an external cooler and filter for the tranny, modified the fuel sender for 3/8" line, ran a 3/8" line, put a modern alt on the engine, ripped out the wiring, when I saw this one for sale: So I got it, because it has no side windows. Now, I'm building the wiring harness on the living room floor of a cramped appartment, and when my buddy's lift is free, we'll switch the drivetrains and sell the two-tone. 4 wheel disc brakes are next. Ran
