The Milodon 31581 (external p/up version) in my '66 Charger slightly interfered with the original K frame. Not a big deal but the engine had to come out one more time. I eventually replaced the stock K with a QA1 because it was slightly bent.

I'm not sure on if or how to even modify the pickup tube. I'm sure it will most likely crack the tubing or break a weld by trying to bend it

I would get it out of the block, thread it into a cast-iron fitting, clamp the fitting into a vise, apply heat with a torch or inductive heat gun (best choice) and bend preferable with a radiused pipe bender. Let cool, test fit.
Another option would be to mark the pipe where you need to bend. Cut with saw 80% through, fold together and weld.

It doesn't look like it'll need much.

Thanks, I may just have to try modifying it myself. I called milodon and they're trying to blame it on the block and they said that the location of the pickup port is not in the stock location and that it has a custom angle to it. If this was the case, I don't see how the stock pickup worked .

I got off of the phone with milodon and according to them, this setup won't fit my world aluminum block. If I want to use this pan, they said that I have to go with an external oil system. The engine builder says that this isn't true and that he helped design this block and the oil pickup tube adapter is in the factory location.

That sounds pretty hokey. You had a stock pickup before?

Maybe a machine shop could tweak the milodon one a bit

I want my fair share

Yes, I originally had a stock pickup that fit just fine. Not sure which guy to believe at this point, but I now have about $700 between the pan , pickup tube and windage tray that won't work. I've read reviews where a few people said they had the same fitment issues with the pickup tube as well. I'm not really sure if I want to go the external route, it just seems like it's asking for more problems having to change even more parts.

Anyone had an issue with Milodon's cad plating coming off with mild solvent use?

I just cleaned up one of their road race pans recently and the gold finish wiped off in numerous places like it was paint but it didn't leave a sharp edge like paint flaking off.

Will the missing cad finish mean its susceptible to rust in those areas now?

where the plating is missing, and i'm guessing you are seeing bare steel, it will rust.
how fast depends on too many circumstances, so i can't say when it will appear, but it will eventually.
