Anyone know why Allen P didn't make it to the Nationals. I went on Friday and saw no pro stock Mopars go down the track to qualify..

Pro Stock is the Chevy weenies (and the NHRA's) dream right now.

I noticed that also...the entry sheet said the 3 mustangs of the Cuadro's had ford engines. Didn't appear that way to me , but I could be wrong. It also said Bruno Massil was driving a mustang with a ford engine for some team I was not familiar with, but he was in another Elite Camaro . Guess NHRA got what they wanted with an all Camaro class.

Yeah what a joke PS is, all the cars look the same all made by Jerry Haas. Time to do the 1972 weight break thing so other engine combos can run.

I basically hate everything gm, so how close are these things to anything resembling stock? Pardon my ignorance

Don Ness passed away a few years ago. Elite is using Rick Jones' cars.

Too bad. A lot of the tricks and innovations that are being used (and having credit being taken for by others) today were invented and developed by him.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Just had to much things to get done and we are racing at maple Grove this weekend. so I decided to sit it out and catch up on some maintenance. With all the rain and the one time shot it turned out to be a good decision.

I did not know that Don had passed. Years ago in Brainerd during the National he bought us all drinks at a bar. Very nice guy. I use to visit a buddy that worked for Don in the cinder block building with no windows where you had to try and find the door to get in. I loved looking over the cars. You would never imagine that that building turned out such incredible cars. The only give away was when the Nationals were coming up and the race haulers were in the lot. Alan P I thank you for posting here and giving us updates.

Pro Stock = NASCAR in a straight line. Boring. Shame, used to be a great class to watch.

Alan P and his hard work, with a Dodge, is the only thing that keeps it remotely interesting. Otherwise, it's like IROC Eliminator.
