I haven't replace an old rubber gasket slider in years. The frames of the factory sliders were wide and require a gasket to fit it. The aftermarket sliders were designed for guys wanting to replace a standard back glass without having to buy a new gasket. If you broke a factory slider, it was cheaper to by an aftermarket slider plus a new gasket

Are you looking for the rubber just for the sliding parts of the window, or the whole gasket? Reason I ask, is I used to have an 84 D350 with a solid glass, and a friend gave me a sliding rear window. I had a glass guy come swap it out, and he reused the same gasket that was around the perimeter opening. Of course, this was about 1990 when the truck wasn't very old. Are you sure your friends slider was factory and not aftermarket

Here's a picture of the rear window. My guess is that it's factory.

Looks aftermarket. The factory ones the frame matches the window hole better then that and the ends join at the bottom not some random spot on the side. Unless things changed in the 80s.

It looked very similar to the one in the above post. It moved air thru the non AC truck, and that was all that mattered to me...lol.

Looks aftermarket to me as well. All the factory ones I've seen had black frames and I've had an 89 and 92 with them. The factory ones sit pretty flush as well. The aftermarket ones not so much.
