I won my first drag racing trophy at Mickey Thompsons Fontana Drag City in Fontana, CA in the spring of 1964 in my mothers 1964 Dodge 270 Dart four door sedan with one of the first 273 C.I. V8 in SO CA at that time.
That track was sanction by AHRA at that time and that car fit into K/SA Formula 3 , he still had the flag starter and 1/4 ET and MPH hand written on a piece of paper, boy were those the days
