You sir are the first i have heard that had positive dealings with them. Every experience I and friends have had with SF have been :a nightmare twocents beer

They’ve treated me well over the years, maybe they only are good to Illinois folks since this is their home state?
From a nightmare sewer failure in the 90s at my house, where the plumber told me I was lucky to have State Farm as they where the last insurance company honoring that type of claim (they too stopped not long after, in under the wire!) to calling damage to my car when I drove through a debris cloud when a truck blew up in front of me on the highway a few years ago comprehensive, where my deductible is $100 instead of collision, where it’s $1000, or another comp claim in 2019 where some dingleberry’s wayward golf ball hit the top of my Challengers fender and made a hard to fix dent (a year after another jerks golf ball hit its door and I paid a PDR place out of pocket to fix, and yet another golf ball that damaged a windshield a few years before that State Farm paid to replace). Yes I’ve come to hate golfers!
Maybe I’m just unlucky with golf balls but lucky with insurance.

I put my barracuda on the road 2 years ago. Cheapest insurance I could find was Hagerty going thru Nationwide. Was $160ish a year for $15K coverage. Last year it changed and wasn't thru Nationwide anymore but was still with Hagerty, but increased to $183. This year it jumped to $211. I had State Farm (This is who I have all my other vehicles thru) give me a quote when I wanted to put the car on the road and they wanted it appraised and a whole bunch of other bs and gave me a quote of like $400 a year. I drive the car MAYBE 500 miles a year. I contacted State Farm again this year and only need to submit photos of the car since I already have it insured thru another company, don't have to have it appraised, etc. They quoted me $160 a year with a little more coverage than I currently have. Since I really don't drive the car much I really just need to be covered encase something happens when I'm out and about so I shop for the cheapest I can get pretty much. I'll be switching to State Farm for this year.

Are you sure SF is giving you Agreed Value coverage, and not Stated Value/Stated Amount?

I'm not sure State Farm subscribes to the theory of "Agreed Value Coverage" but rather "Stated value" as mentioned by not_a_charger.....
at least they didn't when I dropped them about 6 years ago and went with Hagerty who do.

They do write Agreed Value, but not in all states.
