It looks great and very unique. That combo should net your goal if the converter and suspension are right.

Honestly I liked the "before" picture better.
It has that It's-so-ugly-it-can't-possibly-be-fast look to it!
The mags make it even better!

I am building a 65 myself, you do not see them often at shows or the track. Very interested in what it runs What headers did you use

Thanks for all the kind words guys! The only problem is, I wish I owned it! I built a car for someone else that I wanted for myself! My checkbook isn't quite that thick. I'll keep plugging away at the Dart and I'll get it there. The car has a ton of local history. The late Doug Toelle used to own it, and it used to have a 340 w/ a crossram 2 fours. There used to be a rivalry between the Mitchell and Huron, SD street cars. They used to meet and race outside a small town between them about 25 miles from here. Everybody knew about the old green, beat up Valiant, that cleaned house! They say the rust would fall out of the trunk every time it would launch, and it would hook on 14 inch tires and kick everybody's butt! I'm thinking it is around 2900-2950 with him in it. We will weigh it and see. I'll post results after Saturday. I hope it doesn't break!
