Does anybody make 426 Hemi pistons lighter than 800 grams?

Assuming stock stroke, what static CR? What valve relief?

Stock CR, stock stroke, stock rings, stock valve reliefs, pretty much stock. Looking at what's available as a stock replacement lighter than the typical 800+ gram pistons.

Does anybody make 426 Hemi pistons lighter than 800 grams? Why?? More piston weight is more parasitic drag on the rotating assembly. My block has to be bored so I might as well try to find some lighter pistons. It'll all have to be re-balanced anyway so.......

I think todays pistons are a big reason that a Ray Barton 528 make 800 horsepower instead of 425. The longer stroke makes the piston dome shorter. (Probably better for flow.) The narrow/low tension rings. The light weight. I forgot but I think a stock piston is over 900 grams. Stuff today is just mo better.

the compression height needed with a stock stroke means a little extra material.
Stroker pistons are shorter, and save alot of weight.
These are 693.3 grams with a 176.1 gram wrist pin.

I have the same ones for my 572 I think they are Indy street crate engine pistons, but not 100% sure. I got them from a guy located near Nashville, great price, great quality.
