I'm having interference problems between the bottom of the pistons and the crank counter weights on my Ford 351W stroker motor I'm building for my 1940 Ford Tudor whiney
I've never had a problem with any of the Mopar, BB or SB stroker motors I've had machined and balance shruggy
I'm going to try and have it fix here locally by a shop that does a lot of Fords and hope it won't take a lot of welding or heavy metal added onto the crank after getting the clearances needed luck

I quit drinking beer around 1972 after returning to the states after being station in central Germany where every town larger than 5000 people had at least one brewery, them dang Germans would keep and drink all the good beer made there for themselves, not export it whiney
I never got use to American beer enough to like it so when I was young I drank good Kentucky Bourbon instead up boogie grin
We where warn about the strength and alcohol content of the German beer before being allowed to go out to drink in their bars, I did find out at the local enlisted men club that they where correct shock I drank three glasses of the local German beer and couldn't decently walk down the hall to the mens room without bouncing off of both walls shock Beer was under 15 cents(50 Phinney SP) a glass at the club, same price out on the town in the Gast Houses for a 1/2 liter flippy bottle up
It was way better than American beer boogie up
They don't chill it either so it is served at room temps. which made me want to drink more realcrazy
BTW I think there must be over 20 brewery here in Central Oregon, 10+ here in Bend shruggy

Cab,
The counterweights may only need a little clearancing at the counterweight directly opposite the rod journal. See my pic earlier in this topic that shows the Callies factory counterweight shape. It is "cam cut" to leave metal on the counterweights, but clear the piston pin boss.
