With that torque curve you probably don't need much stall.

dont why this seems odd coan 3500 stall converter Not that it's close to being comparable but we run 10.0's @ 133 with 1.36 60 ft. using an 11" converter rated at 2800 stall. It's all about the combination.
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

It's all about the combination. Yep certainly don't need no loose converters with an adder. My '69 all iron 440 6-pk stock bottom end Cuda from back in 1990 ran an 8" 4800stall as NA but when I hit it with a 175hp Big Shot kit off the line it went to 7000 in an instant and I just caught the 2nd gear shift at around 7300, ran a 9.96@134 and it turned past 7500 through the traps, sh^t the life out of me with 2000gms of rod/piston flying around at those rpms with its 4.88/32" tyre combo but it lived to fight another day, only did that 1 run.
