Found:

727 from a 440 6bbl car built at the Hamtrack plant. Assembly/part# 3410672. It must have been a really late car going by the VIN.

The VIN is:
0B44034x (if you can fill in the last number and prove it, I believe I have your original trans)

This trans was rebuilt a few years ago through a very well know trans place. And this might have been someones "core".

I am looking for my 340 that came out of my 71 Challenger. Vin#jh23h1b209943. I know the engine was worked on in Sarasota Fl. at Sarasota Cylinder Head Service, 4682 Ashton Rd.in Sarasota Fla. by the owner, T. Workman. The engine was totaly rebuilt by the invoice that came with the car. The car then went to Russellville, Ky around 1983 to 85 from the Vehicle tax notice and insurance papers that also came with the car. Do not know if engine was still in the car. 1969 440 serial number 9A303033. Casting date 5-23-69. Galen Govier tells me this engine is from a 1969 Super Bee (440 Six Pack)... If this is your car's engine and you can prove it, contact me and we'll figure out how to do the right thing.

BTW, this engine is running but I have no idea what's in it or what's been done to it. I've only had it a few months.
