I am picking up a truck in Florida on Friday and the owner said something about Florida titles are done electronically? Any clue me in on this?

At the time the owner registers a vehicle in the state of Florida you have the choice of receiving the title in the mail, on the spot or having it electronically stored in their database. The owner will need to purchase a title from the database to sell the vehicle to the new owner. Or the owner and the new buyer can both go to the local tax office in their county and have it electronically exchanged but both parties must be present. The electronic thing is just for the storage of the title as most dumbasses can’t seem to keep track of them. twocents

If you have any questions Jim call me I can fill you in.

Thanks! I will be down there late so going to an office it out of the question. So I need to tell him to go to the local DMV ahead of time and get a copy of the title, correct?

Assuming they have a clean title.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

And some offices are temporarily closed with Coronavirus and some by appointment only

Facts are stubborn things.
