Dudek knows what he’s doing! That officially puts the Hemicuda as second fastest car ever in FAST behind only the 69 L88! You know he’s gunning hard for the 9.77!!! you can say that again, but he missed by .001

[align:center][/align] 144 mph has to be getting hairy on stock brakes and tires! Do they allow an upgrade for brake safety or does the car have to run the original brakes? At 150 mph NHRA will require a parachute which won't look stock...... Maybe? Dont think they even require a bar in those cars... crazy

looks like there is a bar in the picture posted running through the package tray? Yep, you can see the cage and a window net.

While FAST does not enforce any safety rules, the tracks we run at do, We are not big enough and we encourage our racers to follow safety guidelines.

No doubt the mineshaft air helped to make the mph, but the cool track doesn't do a lot for traction. It's always a balancing act on skinnies.

I looked the car over today and liked how the X bars got around the door panels and if I remember right, column shift. Would fit right in the show car field. The black 63 Ply max wedge sitting next to it was no slouch either.

Is this Cuda a replacement for the Road Runner, or is it a car Dave built an engine for, or something else? I know the Road Runner was sold, but I'm out of the loop on the rest of it. RR was sold, it raced at MIR today too. https://www.facebook.com/FASTRacingSeries/lots of pictures and timeslips
