You have a large problem. The spare is probably for a GM or Ford product. Does the wheel bolt up to your car?
Goodyear G78-15 - Should be F78-14 DOT seems to be CUO 038 M87 Stamped between the stud holes - 1977 wheel M87 and 9 to the left of the stem and an 8 to the right of the stem. - Sept 8, 1977 build date 369917 stamped in the rim above the stem. Probably a GM part number.
Now I am ticked off! I can't EVER get a break but this was my error and should have known this stuff before I bought it. This guy is a BIG mopar guy and I took his word for it. I obviously didn't try to put it on the car and could easily check the bolt circle. I'll do that in a little bit. I am sure it'll be 4 3/4 probably.. LOL
Gonna make a phone call in the morning!
Okay you were right, the part number was 3699117 and there is a chrysler insignia to the right of the 8 on the rim so it is chrysler and does appear to be 4.5" bolt circle I believe.

I wonder if it is from a 78 Super Coupe? If so, you should be able to get your money out of it.
If so, how much $ are you talking about? I paid 100 for the tire/rim and bottle/bracket.

I don't have a clue as to what it's worth. I would post that question on the General board. Those guys love to play WhatsItWorth.
I guess I need to find out if that's what it's for or not. I guess for now I'll keep it until I can replace it.

Okay, here are all the numbers: Goodyear G78-15 DOT seems to be CUO 038 M87 Stamped between the stud holes M87 and 9 to the left of the stem and an 8 to the right of the stem. 369917 stamped in the rim above the stem.
I was told it was out of a mid 70's volare or aspen.
The 250 wheel with a F78-14 GOODYEAR tire was used on the Aspen/Volare. What you have was used on the B Body. Cordoba, Magnum, Charger etc...
What I have = Worthless
Gonna make the call this morning and see if I can get my $ back. Wish me luck.

Here is a pic of a stud for the space saver spare. It is about 6 1/2 inches long. The one for my convert is longer, about 7 inches. Hope this helps you.

Here is a pic of the correct space saver wheel. It is a 14x5.5 with no part number and a sixth hole across from the valve stem. These wheels were made by kelsey-hayes. The correct tires were bf goodrich(7.35,7.75x14 early 70) f 78 14.

I'm trying to determine if my car came with 14's or 15's from the factory....your note above implies I would have had 14's? Was there a 15" space saver?
e bodies never came with 15" space saver spares. The 15" space savers came in later and larger cars like the cordoba. They were g 78 15 goodyears. The f 78 14 goodyears came in aspen and volares.
