On our local news this week a news reporter went to local theaters opening up under the new Coronavirus rules. Jaws was playing at one of the theaters. lol.

We have a Narragansitt beer poster with Robert Shaw on it in a scene from Jaws it says.... Crush it like Quint!Its in our garage next to our old fising poles,and a 70s Budwieser hat on top of poles,same as hat seen in Jaws.

The sharks that were probably responsible for the deaths of the sailors from the Indy were oceanic white tips. Not the great white.

The character name was Quint, not Quinn, and I believe he was specific about calling them oceanic white tips.

I don't recall Quint saying the sharks were Great Whites either. White tips are on the "man eater" list of sharks & have been for many years.
