GA4 Gunmetal or Petty blue would get my vote. The color gets a lot of compliments.

I love the look of black on these and that would be an easy color to spray one panel at a time. Wondering how a white canopy top and white interior would look with a black car? Black really suits the "2 liter coke bottle" styling of these cars makes the lines sleeker in appearance IMHO, lighter colors tend to amplify the large "hips" the girl has.... white interiors are sharp!

I owned this car twice. In these photos, it's wearing original paint. (I bought the car in Phoenix, AZ. back in 1985).

Well it looks like I have a Spring Special Topper X edition, numbers matching, never wrecked or been apart with an intact build sheet. So since it has survived almost 49 years as is, who am I to change it now. It will be painted back green and everything rebuilt back to it's former self. It was built Jan 24th 1972 in St Louis. Does anyone reproduce the plaid cloth seat covers?

Before you choose you should do your homework on interior trim availability. You might find that you're forced to go with a black interior because other colors aren't available. You might be able to find everything in white for that year but with my '72 Duster I was forced to use black rather than blue since most parts are not reproduced in blue. I checked Legendary. The only pieces I can't get are the interior upper sail panels which I need, a green dash pad and the correct vinyl cloth seat covers. I can paint a black dash pad and the seats may have to be standard white vinyl. I have access to correct bucket seats, steering column, console and shifter for a 72 Charger if I want to go that route. I'm still on the fence but the old guy in me keeps telling me it's a survivor.
