FYI he was put on hiatus here, he did not leave on his own. I miss Brad's input as well. He is one of us old timers who had been around here since the late 90's.

Curious how that worked for power in his 470 As has been said....... he doesn’t run a 470. It’s an RB 452. The first combo I dynoed for him had the UD 267/267, which was experiencing some upper rpm stability issues that day. That cam was never run in the car. Iirc, 440Jim ran the UD267/267 in the 470 in his Dart.

Yes, that cam. What issues did you have with that? I don't recall any issues/problems. Here are my notes from 2002: Crane aluminum roller rockers, 1.5 ratio on Edelbrock RPM heads Comp Cams 10 degree retainers (#748, 1.5" dia), Isky 8005A valve springs, 140 lb seat, 390 lb open. Edelbrock heads, 295cfm@0.600", 299cfm@0.700" intake (clean up porting only +10cfm), 228cfm@0.600", 235cfm@0.700" exhaust (some porting +25 cfm) 11.8 CR with 72cc heads, zero deck 2" Pro parts headers (a little long, but not as bad as the Hooker A-body headers). 950 HP carb, Edelbrock TM-6 intake with a little porting 8", 5100 rpm Coan converter (may go 5100-5200 with added CID) 4.56 gear, 30.6" tall tire 3150 lbs race weight The car ran a best of 10.27 at 129.4 mph in the quarter mile, shifting at 6200 rpm, crossing the line at 6750 rpm. I tried higher shift points (up to 6800, 0.05 slower) but it ETed the best there. The sixty foot was 1.40-1.42 with a 6"-12" wheel stand foot braking (no trans brake), so torque at 5100 rpm was good. The car has Dynomax bullet (straight through) "mufflers", but no tail pipes or cross over.

Sadly it seems that in the last few years a lot of the "old timers" have left for one reason or another. I miss the days when Bob George and crew were posting, a lot of knowledge has left here.
