I want to swap a 5.7 hemi in my 1969 Dodge Super Bee (keeping the 727). I am looking at a few complete parts cars in the local private boneyard. In summary, what all items do I need to the swap off the parts car?

Right off, you'll need a small block 727 for the job. The 5.7 does not bolt up to the big block 727 bolt pattern.

what do you want the final configuration of your Bee to be? If you want a 5.7 but running a carb intake and sb 727 you don't need anything but the engine.

I've got a 'junk' 5.7 sitting in my 69 coronet now with a sb 727 to start the mock up for my turbo kit for it. These engines are wide!

What if you want the entire EFI system? How much of the LX doner car do you need?

I am not rich...but I get off my ass everyday to make sure I am not broke!

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

depending on year, a lot. Hotwire has harnesses that reduce the need. There's a build thread on here of a guy that put one in his B body and started with the OEM harnesses and then went back with Hotwire to make it actually work.
