Unsure about St. Louis but will tell you Advanced Distributor in MN did mine and several others I personally know. All with outstanding results. He’s knowledgeable and willing to discuss the finer points (no pun intended) as well as options based on your specific build, and for a fair price.

I am in St Louis, Mo and have a Allen syncrograph and a Sun 404 distributor tester Machine. Along with all the specification cards.

If you are local come by with your dizzy and we can social distance and check it out.

I am just a guy that wants things working correctly. My cost is time and material.

If you are wanting a topnotch $$$ restoration there is a guy on facebook called joe’s mopar distributor restoration.

Interesting. I tried to have a discussion with him a couple of months ago (to get my distributor recurved) and he copped a MAJOR snotty attitude about how dare I question him in any way, and to stop preaching to the choir (in about those words).

It'll be a cold day in a really hot place before he gets any business from me! YMMV. twocents

Sorry to hear that, I’ve had great informative conversations and conversations that went a little as you described. Looking back one conversation was asking questions and the latter was explaining what I wanted, where our opinions may have differed just a bit. In the end I sent my distributor for recurve. What I received back was a quality build with exceptional performance.

I tend to agree with you to never do business with anyone who you feel treats you wrong, That said, I’ll be the first to say there are many a character in this hobby, where often great products or services are tied to eccentric personalities. I’ve gotten over it more than once . . . And tend to forgive a bit when I receive anything thats exceptional.

Best of luck

If you go over to forbbodiesonly.com look for a guy by the name of "Halifaxhops". All he does is distributors. He does it all. Stock and recurve. He is local to me. Nice guy.
