I’d probably chose to just make life easier for myself.
If I “had” to use that motor, I’d find a Ford product to put it in.
There are several Ford bodies I like well enough to use. Maverick Grabber.

There's plenty of Fox bodies around. That would be a killer setup, plus save the Ford guys the shame of having another Fox end up with an LS in it. Exactly. You want to sell in the future its all Ford and would sell a lot easier. Sell the motor and put a 1000 HP Gen3 Hemi in your Mopar or stuff a Gen 2 Hemi at 636 CI and get a lot more attention than a Ford Motor would.

Seems like you should be able to make it work if you can fab the parts.
It would be great to see that setup in an original LS car, like a later F body. Especially since Ford guys already think the LS is a copy of a Windsor. Take the LS out of the F body and swap that into the Duster. Then find a Foxbody and put a 318 in that.

I think some of you guys are missing the point. He already has the car and the drive train and he just wants to put it together. Yea it would be nice to have the money to buy a Mustang and put that drivetrain in it but that wasn't the question Gus

Yea it would be nice to have the money to buy a Mustang and put that drivetrain in it but that wasn't the question Gus I understood his point but I guess the consensus is that 85% say NO, don't do it. All personal opinions is all. Same consensus over on the VW Bug forums when someone asks about putting a Subaru engine in a BUG. I have a neighbor with a 65 Beetle with 2007 STi running gear that has blown so many minds. But the BUG NUTs are always upset with him....
