From my chair , I am not worried too much about getting infected.
I AM worried about the possibility of infecting someone else..........especially someone in one of the vulnerable groups.
Better to just avoid crowds and gatherings until we have a handle on this.
Sacrifices will have to be made , and the potential to further erode our freedoms is very real.
But I just don't want to get anyone sick.

In Tucson on Saturday we have a local no prep race that is replacing the cancelled no prep kings race.
It was a go as of yesterday.
Wont have much of a crowd, maybe 50, could be a little more since its the only thing going on in Tucson now.

Coles County and US 41 are closed until further notice. Coles was supposed to open this Sunday, but will probably be underwater anyway.

RT 66 doesn't open until late April usually, they may be ok.

All the local drag strips in the Dallas area are closed including the Motorplex.

RT 66 cancelled the ETI's and Chassis Inspections earlier in the week.
Then yesterday cancelled the test & tunes and bracket races through the end of April.
There were no bracket races scheduled in May so maybe by June?

Saw a FB post this morning that Tucson is shutting down for at least 2 weeks.

That's correct. I saw that when I went home.

LVMS is closed til at least 18 April. Cancelling some big events. The Mopars at the Strip race was postponed, The Spring Fling Million has been postponed, The NHRA was cancelled/postponed and the NHRA Divisional was also Cancelled or postponed. The issue here is the summer heat and upcoming EDC. The entire month of May is taken up by EDC set up, event and tear down basically. June the track shuts down for the season til Spetember. SO getting replacement dates for those events will be challenging for sure.

Once all of this mass panic and what not passes and things slowly get back to normal I think MOST will open. My only fear is the last few years a good many tracks at least on the east coast have not had stellar years due to mother nature. With some people not being able to go to work I'm sure that will hinder some racers being able to even race. On top of that some tracks are not getting many cars to begin with. With the start of the season being pushed back, makes me wonder how many tracks will not be around in the next few years.
