I didn't have much luck finding the original owner of my Belvedere, even though I have his name and original address. Talked to the guy who owned it after the original owner, but he had no contact i for him anymore.
Pretty tough to go any further.
'67 is an abbreviation of 1967 67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet They are not interchangeable.

Just have no luck on anything prior???? Any tips or tricks???? TIA Maybe older era magazines. Assuming car was ever featured in any. Pre '74 is gonna be tough: pre internet period. Earlier owners wouldn't have access to forums like today.

I found some info on one of mine chatting on the jalopy journal. A guy on there knew the original owner and worked on the car back in the day, removed the 6bbl and put a 4 bbl on it. It was a little easier as it was detroit area and that street scene gets a lot of talk on boards. Anyway just throwing that out there.

Just have no luck on anything prior???? Any tips or tricks???? TIA In 2014 I petitioned TX DMV to find out if they had anything on my A12 and I did get enough to be able to do my own detective work. When I was looking for the original owner of my fathers' Superbird I used FaceBook yard / garage sale plus city / town pages and blanket them with pics & info about the car. I did get some contacts but nothing that led me to find him/her.

I have the name of the buyer who bought my Duster off the show-room floor, since I got the original sales invoice/ title/window sticker/broadcast sheet..etc...when I bought it. But it wouldn't do me any good to contact her, since she was elderly when she bought the car new, she's been dead for at least 40 years.
