Hello,
I am currently restoring all the dual point distributors for my cars and I see that some of them have this type of vac advance:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Plymouth-Dodge-NOS-MOPAR-318-CI-Engine-Distributor-Vacuum-Advance/254334581130?hash=item3b3785b98a:g:Na4AAOSwPPFdR45b
while some others have this type:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vacuum-Advance-Control-Pod-VC184-for-Mopar-Small-Block-Electronic-Distributor/143341368959?epid=75431013&hash=item215fcfb67f:g:ekwAAOSwUPJdPlaK
was that a year change or whats the deal? What is correct for each application/year????

I will add to pay attention to stamped advance on arm, actual final bend length on arm at hole. So match what you have if these are original. Attached is picture. Notice two in center. The short extension at hole is DP. Longer extension at hole is the SP AL/Prestolite VC. Also save your springs and washers from the old, you will need them.
