I have options. 3 tracks that are about equal distance from me have weekly bracket racing with the occasional index/grudge thrown in. Twin City in Monroe, Battlefield in Collinsville and Gulfport in Gulfport. All 3 have decent money weekly and on occasion big money. Usually, the brackets are Electronics/Footbrake/Street. Some tracks have Box/No Box/Street.
I prefer brackets myself due to finances..... yet the grudge and index nights are helping the track stay open. I go to watch on those nights.
Hopefully my old car will be doing battle this year.

I’m so glad I live towards the East Coast. Big dollar bracket races almost weekly within 200 miles or less. Index racing, street car racing, or NHRA divisional or National events to enter if you want too. Pick your poison on go for it. Not a big fan of the pre-entry big dollar races but it is what it is so I pick the ones I want. I already pre-entered two big dollar events at Norwalk in 2020.

I race about 10-12 times a year mostly index race in NSS. I do also enter in the bracket race sometimes while index racing. I have won a few bracket races and hold those victories as something really special.
An old codger I race with says " the racers that say they come to just have fun never win, but once they win... then they come to win !!
