Zippy is the guy that would know more but I haven't seen him post in a while.
Aw thanks but you guys totally have it covered. I'd have to dig through the basement to find any info worth mentioning on the old blocks, and other than foundry info (which at this point is all trivia since none of them will do anything for Chrysler anymore anyway) it's mostly stuff that's been posted here before.

PJ, there is a thread on here once a month about someone crying that they cannot find a decent aftermarket wedge block to buy and build. Then they ask if someone will ever cast them again. The answer is always, no. That is a good deal on an impossible block to find. Buy it. For $2000, you could sell it and make money. I’m surprised you have not got a box full of messages wanting to buy it already. In short, yes, buy the block.

I have it in my garage now. He has been more than patient while I made up my mind. PJ

Nice thing about this 2 bolt block---being a common casting it can be machined for 4 bolt without removing too much material.

What heads fit the P5007671 block? Do the 906's, 915's and standard 440 heads fit it?PJ
