It depends on how much aluminum parts are on your motor and if you installed it in a stock location, my old pump gas street Duster had 50.5 % on the front tires with the motor slid back one inch on the transmission mounts with elephant ears, the rear end was moved forward two inches also ![devil devil](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/devil.gif) . I've own a bunch of BB A body cars, stock BB 383 Darts and Baracuda are near 53 % on the front ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif)

My 71 Dodge demon race car only with removable fiberglass frontend with roll bar tied to the shock tower and frame rails was 1700lbs total weight was 2750 , no inner fenders either Dang, My '68 A-Body convertible Barracuda weighs 3700 lbs without me in it. I was shocked at how heavy the car is.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

3035 total race weight. 1785 front and 1250.
Too front heavy IMO. Need to front half it over winter.

Our hemi super stock cars are around 54-57% front end wht. @ 3200# with dr. Actually we would put weight in front to help calm down wheelies. I don't think there is much weight savings in front halving.

I don't think there is much weight savings in front halving. I would be doing it for engine setback. It is 58-42 right now. Like to shift some weight to the rear.

It looks like the A body gains it weight advantage from the rear. My 64 Belvedere. Light bumper brackets (steel bumper), glass hood, aluminum -1 heads, Mega block, 2 carbs, light brakes, stock suspension, inner fenders, and fenders. 1810lbs on the nose w/driver (200). 54% @ 3350 lbs Doug

You need to keep in mind hat the 108 wheel base cars are not exactly like the longer 110 W.B A body cars with the same motor on weight distribution :work; My old pump gas Duster was right at 50.5% on the nose with me in it ready to race ![boogie boogie](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/boogie.gif) I had moved the motor back right at 1.0 inch on the trans cross member and moved the rear end forward around 1.5 inches also ![wrench wrench](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/wrench.gif) Lots of ways to make any car better on the weight distribution ![whistling whistling](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/whistling.gif) depending on how hard you want to work and how much money do you want to spend ![scope scope](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/scope.gif)
