Has anyone ever seen a shaker done in Argent Silver or was they only done in black? The rule, not set in stone was 70 Argent and 71 Black. But like I said it is not 100% that way Bob
Mom & Dad let me buy a brand new 70 Challenger R/T 440 Six-Pack Super Trac Pack when I was 17
(Robert what is a 440 Six-Pack)

My 71 that came with the argent scoop is a non-R/T 340 car. The argent scoop goes well with argent grille and tail panel. Not sure if that was a happy accident or planned that way by Chrysler. Pic dates to 1979-80.

Weird just searched and the last 5 challengers in 1970 have semi gloss black shakers. I've never seen a argent shaker on a challenger before.
Has anyone ever seen a argent shaker on a 70 challenger?
Are you sure you are looking at "real" shaker Challengers? Shaker Challengers are very rare. It's very popular to add the shaker hood to these cars.

Yes, I saw a shaker scoop in argent on a 1970 Challenger convertible 440-6 that was plum crazy body color. It was original. Terry This is good news. I think it looks better too.

The vast majority of 70s would have an argent bubble. Only the late cars would have black. My car has an SPD of 723 so I'm going to go with black. My original bubble got painted body color - FK5 Burnt Orange

Looks like semi gloss black. 20% flattening agent.

Is 723 considered a late production date? Very late July 23, 1970 - IIRC the last SPD is July 30th

My late May build 71/R/T has black organisol , so the {Floyd }May build non R/T could of came with argent {as he suggests } to match grill and tail panel at that time. Late build shaker would it be black organisol? I'm ready to repaint today. I have both argent silver and black organisol.
