Having trouble getting this paint, formulas don’t go back to 66. Is there any later models (after 83) that had the same shade, to get real close? Single stage type.

AA 1 is # 32398 that number should be all you need.

Can you expand on that a little more on what that means? is it a formula number? Their computer couldn’t give the mixtures. Even though he did make up W1 white for my 70 Duster

It is a number given to a color and never used again. I was told my XX paint code on my 65 Corvette didn't exist but once I provided the number it was in the data base.

Think of it as the paint company's stock # or part #.
Every paint co. will use their own # for a given OEM paint code.
So, R-M's # will differ from DuPont's (now Axalta) #.
But either the jobber or the manufacturer should have a cross-reference.
