I just heard my friend Ross Hutchinson crashes his 67 Belvedere today. He has two broken knee caps. I heard he cut a tire and ended up on the roof.

There are some pics of the incident on the Nosalgia Mopar Racing facebook page. It's hit pretty hard. Can't see any roof damage, though, it must be minimal. No glass is broken. Sorry to hear about the injuries, sorry for the damage to the car.

Wow! I hope he gets well! Other than the accidents how is the races going? Good turn out and lots of cars? It seemed like a good turn out as always, the pits seemed really full. I didn’t get to watch much racing but KOS seemed like it had more cars than past years. We were watching the starting line from under the bleachers when the 67 Hemi Plymouth went on it’s roof. Didn’t see what happened but saw the aftermath while we were walking the pits, torn up bad, as for the HemiCuda, I remember watching that car for years as it changed owners multiple times, was one of my favorites to watch, the current owner/driver is local to me, heard he got air transported form hospital to hospital, back injuries are scary for sure. Hope both drivers recovers quick, never like seeing stuff like that.

I was helping crew on a couple Big Dog cars. We made it down to 8 cars and lost. That was 1:30 a.m Sunday morning. I was told that cars were still going down the track at 4 :00 a.m but a rain shower came thru and put and end to it all. But at 4:00 a.m I was looking at the inside of my eye lids. Birdtracker I won the 11.5 race at 4:30 in the morning. Couple of other semi’s and finals were being run I left to go back to my motel right afterwords. Had to make 2 swipes with my wipers. That was all it rained Edit..... think i left after 4:30, my final was probably more like about 4

Al Thanks bro. Its fun racing those guys in the Ellinger/Daddas gang. Really gets you pumped up and concentrating. How did you make out yesterday! I went out 3rd round and left, think you were still in?

Congrats to Don on his win. My car ran great. Ran 9.244-9.275 on 9.25 index. Results not so good. -.007 red on 1st rd Friday. An absolutely horrible .111 light in rd 3 on Saturday (my 2nd .100 light increases 7 years). Sunday things are looking good. Car was deadly.Going to rd 3. Get staged, wack the throttle, nothing. Broke the factory throttle pedal pivot on the floor. Came home to my road closed 1 house way from mine and no power, lines down. Doug Thanks again Doug for the GREAT pro tree staging advice. Cutting a light footbraking on them isnt easy. Your advice paid immediate dividends, lopped a good 20 off where i was typically before.

Monster Mopar was great as usual, I didn't go any rounds but the car was deadly after a slight change in jetting.. first pass out of the trailer was 9.89/133.76 in tt, next was a 9.84/134.60 on a 9.89 dial . ran it out to see what the jetting change would do,Sat was 9.876/135.02 my first 135 mph pass, then a 9.878/134,9878/134,9.870/133 with a .003 red,, Sun morning 9.903/134.39 tt and a last one of 9.883/134.55 and fell asleep at the tree, won't tell the reaction, it was pathetic,,, but it well worth the trip just in meeting up with friends and making new ones, now I have to learn to drive again.lol
