However attempting to put the carb onto an intake made for actual spreadbore carbs like the thermoquad. Not so much. In addition to the MUCH larger secondary bores, the fronts are spread much wider, and the butterflys on the Street Demon will hit the big wide center divider on the factory manifold. Which is why the instructions say that it may need an adapter on factory spreadbore intakes.

The instructions say that a spacer may be required, not that an adapter may be required. Big difference. And most of us use a spacer anyway to further insulate the carb or to increase intake volume. Also, a spacer would deal with the possibility of carb to intake interference.
Just not a big deal. The Street Demon is the best carb for many of our cars and will work with almost all intakes, although it may want a spacer like many of us are using anyway.

On a side note - who here remembers Demonsizzler's T-Quad modification program? He did some great work for me years ago... He helped me several times and I still run one of his carbs today! What ever happened to him?
