KGorney OP top fuel Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 1,891 PA	I recently acquired a 1970 Challenger with standard seat belts originally. What little is in it now for belts are not the originals or even the right belts for a 70. Could someone please post pictures of original style standard seat belts in a 1970 Challenger? I haven't owned a 70 before so I am not familiar with the layout as I believe some of it is specific to 1970's. If I could see the mounting points, covers, routing, etc that would be greatly helpful. I have a factory service manual but the diagrams are very generic.

DAYCLONA I Live Here Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,167 Mass	here's some of the standard belt stuff you'll need, most is available refurbished or repro from many individuals (Bill and Robin Edwards) or assorted other vendors, YO, Classic, etc, etc

DAYCLONA I Live Here Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,167 Mass	Here's the covers that are installed over the belt retractors before installing carpet, the factory glued the carpet to the retractors, but I've always preferred not to glue the carpet, and rely on the plastic belt retainer to sandwich the carpet to the retractor cover using the 2 screws and the belt slot retainer Mike
