The mice ate my broadcast sheet. The carpet is thrown away. The only thing I have left to identify the right carpet color for my car are the pics below and the following ACC color codes:

08 Dark Green
14 Moss Green
30 Dark Olive Green

Which one do I have?

Take the rear seat cushion or one of the bucket seats out and you might find some less weathered carpet to get a better idea. At this point I'd say you need to add "dirty, weathered, 50 year old Green" to your list of colors. I would guess 08 dark green but that's just a guess. Nice GREEN Road Runner, looks like an early '69 model year build, love GREEN RR's and GREEN Mopar's too. That's very nice with the white interior beer

Is that F8 or F5?

Mike

Thanks for the kind words. The exterior is an old faded re-shoot of F5.

Does the F8 on the fender tag apply to the carpet?

I think the F8 is the interior top of the door paint so I would think the carpet would be a dark green also?

910 Scheduled Production Date (SPD) is 9 10 / Sept 10, 1968.... early '69 model year build wink

F5 btw is my favorite GREEN, I ordered my '69 RR in F5 GREEN in early spring of '69. It was also a RM23 hardtop with a black interior, and bucket seats, console and 727............and 3.91 Suregrip

great combination F5 hardtop with green & white bucket seat interior

Chrysler refers to the carpet simply as "dark green"

I would ask for samples of all three & proceed from there twocents "dark green"

Your RR should have a white vinyl top and a white accent stripe according to your fender tag.....that will really make it pop beer

I just ask for the darkest green they have because they do fade over the years.

So far, so good.

Thanks everyone for the complements. It's encouraging words like this that's timely. I've been having a hard time with this car lately. Getting quality body work done is elusive at best especially with budget restraints. This hobby isn't like it used to be twenty years ago when I did my last car. So, fed up and discouraged I decided to put the car back together and get it running. It's been 17-years that I've owned it and have never heard it run. That may be the thing that saves me from sending it down the road...

Note: The Gragars and BFGs aren't mine...

I'm lucky to have a quality metal guy and a reliable painter. Hard to find.

I understand the frustration. I decided to just get one of 70 Superbees running as is so that I could enjoy it while doing restorations on other cars.

Nice RR

Might be a good idea.
And that is exactly why my next car will be done when it arrives here

For my 70 Cuda EF8 / H4F8, I compared what little carpet that was left (under the door sill plates) to Auto Custom Carpets 08 (Dark Green) and 30 (Dark Olive Green). The Dark Olive Green was the closer of the two.

The one on the right looks more accurate to me too; the one on the left has a bluish tint to it.

iagree that's why you need current samples

just be aware that a '69 b-body's original carpet may not be the same color as a '70 e-body or a '69 a-body

Going off memory alone, the dark olive green on the right, looks... right.

What's the process to requesting a sample?

X2. The dark olive green was a perfect match for my 70 GTX, the dark green was too blue, but as stated, may not be correct for a 1969. Tip: if you have a center console, order a little extra to cover the sides.
