Wish they would have built another classic car...I am no fan of modern cars as drag cars,,,,,even the re-sale value of them is lower....I can see using a corvette for the advantage, but I am not sure a newer caddy is in that realm...

Looks like a really nice car. Really well built.....but he kind of comes across as a real dick on tv. Maybe it's just me...lol

Newer body styles will attract a younger crowd and keep the sport alive. I agree. Have to get (and keep) younger crowd interested, and hopefully they will participate. And if a car is going to hit a wall i'd rather that it NOT be a classic...besides, most classic cars have the disadvantage of being as aerodynamic as a boxcar.

It looks awesome, a little more aerodynamically slippery than old muscle as well.
I saw somewhere where it has an 114" wheel base, I am sure that helped him chose what body to use.

L L is a super cool guy ! .... I called him 5 or so years ago about doing a CarrotVan ....but he had already done one ! It was a GM one and it ran in the low 9’s ! I left him with a couple of questions but nothing even close to being definite. He jsta got super busy with all else he’s doing Hmmmm "super COOL guy" is he.
