Sounds like it might take a little time to work the “it’s been sitting for over 20 years” out of it.

yep although the alt and voltage regulator are new as my wife drives the car i am trying to make sure it is fairly reliable. i will figure it out in the morning i have enough spares to get it running again for sure. i have to get used to the drag radials and get the car set up to hook a bit more the 60 foot is pathetic right now. once that is sorted i may play with some other cams and intakes too.
