Had a street car shootout this weekend up at Fayetteville. Lost in the semis b/c the transbrake didn't hold...rolled the beams. Thinking it was due to low voltage/weak battery. First passes on the car since freshening up the motor and trans. Ran real good (new best), but I need some more passes to get the suspension dialed in. Pulling right and wheelstanding as I get more aggressive w/ the launch. Had a great time though.

It went 5.64 at 126 mph w/ a soft 1.35 sixty foot. I got after it a lil harder and did a wheelstand, had to pedal it, went 5.81 at 123 mph w/ a 1.43 sixty foot on the back tires. Slowly sneaking up on it and tightening up the shocks. Just need more test passes, but it ought to run good once I get it sorted out. Thanks yall!

Chip did you end up going with Viking rear shocks. Something went haywire on my Duster sitting from October to last weekend and it was heading left on every pass running a 6.07 and a 6.06 on my first time trail and first round. 2nd round it was so bad I got out of it. I know I need rear shocks as they are probably 20 years old and on the car when I bought it so I will check everything over tomorrow and take some shock measurements so I can update. Going to check rear tire circumference tomorrow, wheelbase measurements, and my ladderbar setting as I have two races this weekend. There is also a guy on Facebook that comes highly recommended for shocks too
