I understand that all of the Dusters had the Valiant emblem that year. I was also under the impression that the V8 badge was left off of the 340 cars and only on the 318 cars.
Well, my buddy just bought an original 5000 mile 340 car that has the V8 badge on it as well.
I know with Ma, there are no absolutes.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

This car is a survivor. I put up a post on FABO about it and it sounds like cars built after April of 70 no longer had the V8 badge.

is it a survivor w/original paint? is it early or late production? is it CA or MI, or Canada built? is it stripe delete? "V68" So what is your car? These are great questions? Give a brake down of your fender tag.

Scott Smith had a B5 '70 Duster 340 car, very original, that had the V-Eight badging at the front upper fenders, the Valiant badge, and the Duster 340 callout decals below the Valiant badge. This is exactly how my brothers old duster was equipped, he bought it back in the mid-late 80s from the original owner. Car sold several years ago and no idea what the SBD was

Definitely possible. My early build 68 Dart GTS has the V8 emblems. It had factory paint on the passenger side, but no fender tag.
