Why 71/73 and no 74? lol
Hood will get same width and rear edge shape will match with windshield, but seriouslly doubt about the lenght. Definitelly the front shape won't match with bumper. Anything can be done with tools and skills thought

I would also guess that a 71' Charger hood length is the same as a 73' or 74'? yeap, practically same hood in fact. Diffs are on rear grilles and a front beam reinforcement, being a bit longer on 71/72s

Only to mold one out of the light alloy stuff. LOL. Nah, Wishful fence climbing at the moment and just a little bulge won't stretch too much xtra metal onto the existing hood anyways. "The Palm Reader" would not add too much material anyway since he's got the lightweight fever as well.
I just love that Charger hood and my four door would look cool with one on board. Who knows, perhaps there is a Hellcat coming to the cars litter box in the future. LOL.
Either way, I've gotta get a certain black car out on the street again and this candy picking has to take a back seat for now. If it was a bolt on, I would have pulled the trigger by now.

I just love that Charger hood and my four door would look cool with one on board. I like the way you think. To pull it off, you'd probably have to find someone who is a d@#n good welder and graft just the skin of the Charger hood to the Coronet's hood. I often think about grafting the bulge from a '73 RR to the hood of my wagon. I know there is no way to make the stock RR hood fit as a whole.

Charger with a Coronet grill/bumper. I Imagine you could do the opposite.

Pretty sure you would be able to use the 75% of the buldged hood skin from rear and side to side, not just the bulge, and attach it to the existant hood frame, just using the front edge of your existant hood. Will need to get flattened the hood middle line thought. So could be easier than you think.
