The previous owner, who claimed to have owned the car for over 25 years is named Don. If it was the same car, then it was likely the owner before Don.

There is a factory blk V code air grabber GTX that’s been running around south east Louisville for decades. I sporadically have seen it driving over the years and saw it up close at a cruise and it’s far from perfect but he’s enjoying it. A few years ago I was talking to a customer of mine and his brother knows the owner well and said he has owned it forever and NFS ever but good for him.

Wow, has to be the same owner, Donald Owen/Owens, cool to see the car is still around👍

Wish I had some pictures of the car from back in the day.

Wish I could help...I remember the car without the N96...440+6 on the bulged hood, I had seen the car on the road a few times, was pretty nasty, had a pretty good rep as a real tough car...was walking toward another friends house nearby Don’s house and they were putting the rebuilt 440 back in...first time I’d seen regular people doing that...a few months later we pulled my friends 383 out of his 69 RR in the street with rental hoist and other tools a few blocks away from Don’s house...my friends father who was German and with a heavy accent lost his mind when he came home from work and we had the RR gutted in front of the palace lol...great memory...👍
