Why would anyone(normal?) want to try and find one of those oddball motors to work on work
Is this statement meant to create a discussion on another tangent?
If so why not discuss the building of the one or two year only(1959/1960) high deck 383 motors whistling stirthepot grin

Define "normal". laugh2

I define someone as normal when they try to get the best package possible for the money they have to spend for either race or fun car projects shruggy
I did something similar recently with a 1972 413 HD industrial block I took in trade on another motor build for a customer, I sonic tested it first and had it bored to 4.25 and used a used Mopar brand 4.150 Hemi stroker crank in it that I had along with a set of used 440 Source heads and new pistons and camshaft for one of my own project cars, 1963 Plymouth Fury. I'll probably try to fool some of the local street racers saying it is stock with the "original" 413 pump gas motor whistling devil

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
