Need for speed,adrenaline rush, competition, spending time with great friends and meeting new ones, quality time with my wife and kids, traveling, camping, spending my kids inheritance, doesn't get better than that!!

Interesting topic...money or glory? Well, it all went hand in hand for me, winning brought fun, money and glory, the more you won the more fun you had and the more money you received. No winning...no fun...no money...getting put out before the money rounds was no fun. Bracket raced from 1984 until 2010 and loved it/lived it, got a tax number and turned it into a business, some years I made money and some years it was a really good tax shelter. Quit in 2010 on a snap judgement and wish I hadn't...may go back someday.
