Hey guys thanks for the replies.. The CNC idea sounds really good but I hate dealing with INDY due to the attitude. Brett I will message you if that's okay . I spoke with Ryan at Shady Dell and he states that he can do the heads with a CNC machine also. "Ou812" I have seen and heard of your work and the numbers are great. If you were closer we sure would talk. The brown truck goes everywhere. I wouldn't let geography pick my head guy. I will say I have not personally seen ANY head that was CNC ported that I would run. Not a single one. They all need some finish work. Couldnt agree more. In the overall cost of doing a build an extra 100 or two involved in shipping those heads to a guy like Brian i wouldnt think a second about. I know a poster on here named David Dean has been 120 in the 1/8 with Indy heads IMM did. To me thats ultra impressive I have heard of Indy CNC heads leaking just from having theyre CNC run on them. Appreciate the nod...
about 2850 ;-) Thanks David....how's the new build coming?
I hurt my R-3 W-8 motor BAD back in February in Tuscon. I'm basically building a new short block using a Ritter block. I just freshened the indy motor in the duster and racing some now.
