Thanks. I wasn't sure about whether or not I would be able to do it and make it look nice. I am pretty pleased with it. I am dying to paint this thing. I cant wait to look out over a freshly painted hood.

Here is a question to all those that would care to give me some advice. I have two blocks: a 340 and a 360, both are bare blocks but the 340 has a bit of damage to a cylinder. It will probably need to be sleeved. I will try to post some pics of the damage this week. Either engine I choose for the project will be stroked. Which one would you do? Is it worth it to get the cylinder repaired to have the prestige of having a 340.....

340 stroker vrs 360 stroker
single choice

In the grand scheme of things don't waste your money on the repair. Either block stroked will you give more power than you will ever need on the street.

John, your hood came out SWEET.
On the engine I'd have the condition of both blocks checked before deciding. (I should vote 360 LOL) Don't forget that selling my X heads (or J's) is not totally out of the question either.
