Last pic for tonight. Here it is in mostly primer. As body work gets going I will post more pics. I have just been sanding and priming areas in order to see what I find that I get the fun of fixing. Plus I wanted to see how much of the car I could actually prime in the garage without the wife coming out and cutting off my air. By the way the other side is mostly in primer too.

You met my wife, what do you think...I can fix the air...it is my neck I fear. lol I have acquired a few 8 3/4 rearends. A B body and a C Body...one of them will make it into the car. The B looks like it will fit with the wheels and tires that I have now but I am still thinking. UCUDANT keeps bugging me to minitub it. That will depend on what goes into the 71 dated 360 block we recently were given. Donations are awesome. If I can afford to stroke it then minitub will be a necessity and that means cutting down a housing and axles. Good thing I have two to play with and a third set of axles. Thanks Bob

UCUDANT headed off to the MATS this weekend with out me. But I am not upset...a little jealous is all, but then again while he is out looking at other peoples cars I am here working on mine. Here is a shot of the patch tack welded into the right rear quarter.

The welds aren't THAT bad. You gotta grind 'em down anyway!

The patch took a little bit of bending, tweaking, filing, hammaering and grinding to make it fit just so. Them I rought it up a bit and filled with kitty hair. Used to hide small imperfections before skimms of bondo and primmer and lots and lots of block sanding. OH well it is called "Body work", not "Body fun".
