After watching this several times I still can't figure out how this ended so well. Thank God it happened early in the run and stopped so quickly.

I'm no genius but why did they blur the guys face out we all know he's from New Orleans.. .. good thing the was able to walk away from that crash

71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it.

I saw a bunch of street race cars over the weekend, I kept thinking why wouldn't they at least have a bar??? Do they not where helmets? It looked like the nitrous bottle was bouncing around in that car like It was seat belted in or something.

Wow, that thing was gutted everywhere, no safety stuff at all, not even a helmet or jacket, hes lucky.

Anyone else notice 4 lug rear wheels?? So he cheaped out on the rear and axles etc--Maxed out on Bling front wheels and sooooo....
Roll bars do not make car faster--

Whew!!! Gary Roe was running in the mid 8's 20+ years ago with 4 lug axles. and those aren't " bling" front wheels. those are race wheels. the whole purpose of a street race car, is to spend money making it fast. not pretty. not safe. there's plenty of tracks down south where that car would be fine to run, with no cage.
