I use different mounting for different places on the car. Mostly, I use the two sided stickies. Very strong, and not horribly difficult to remove. I was helping a friend with a small tire nova try to kill some wheelie. We mounted the camera on the rear bumper to get a rear view of the tire. Kind of neat to see the shape of the tire on the launch and the shift. By the way, this video was before we got it to kill the wheelies. the camera was mounted sideways/upside down. the editing software allows you to rotate the video. Just wanted to show a sample of some of the things it can do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnGQrpqvmDI

Thanks for starting this thread, it made me get my go pro Hero 2 out and get it working again. I had been wanting to take some more video at the track anyways. Gave it a good workout by mounting it to my 4 year olds RC car just now lol.
