Mask the intake and harmonic balancer and paint the rest. Spray some brake cleaner on an old T-shirt and wipe off anything you don't want paint on after painting.
I use a belt sander on the valve cover fins, spray them and wipe off the sanded part of the fins. Nothing looks worse than big old ugly aluminum heads, water pumps and valve covers on a nice Mopar, except aluminum radiators.

who made the little spacers under the intake at the front and rear? Birdtracker Bischoff made them. I thought they did a great job on those.

I say paint it all orange. Easy clean-up. And you can wax it. Doug I haven’t combed my hair in over 20 years and I’m betting the last time I waxed my engine compartment was over twice that. Lol 😂

I pay my 13.00 and a 2.00 tip and head out the door. After my shower I towel dry my hair and dress for the day. Done ✅. Nice and simple. If we get a real cold winter spell I may get a 4 on top and a 2 on the sides but it better be damn cold. Lol

If you can get The Block and it still needs machine work to make it usable, how much does it really cost for a Ready To Assemble block? Too many options with machine work to answer that question. For example.......do you want lifter bushings, enlarged cam tunnel, etc.???
