Very cool Charger! I like the RWL tires and shiny wires with that color. Cop wheels and dog dishes are nice too. I know sun dulled paint is annoying, and I jockey my cars that are outside around to the shade as the day goes on, but then it's less to stress about too if they already aren't perfect. I like the factory looking turn downs outback too! Very cool cruiser!

Just picked up this 1989 D100 shortbed with 318 (93K miles) for my daughter as a daily driver with "farm truck" style. The visor will probably be the first thing to go.

Any one that remembers my previous post may recall that this truck has just been sitting for a looong time. Well it looks like it will be ready for next season, ( too late in season to get all safety equip back from re-cert for this season) heres a little vid of things to come.

I just acquired this semi-barnfind and probably pretty rare Warlock today. It's a 1976 Warlock Power Wagon factory 440 truck. 4x4, automatic with power steering, power disc brakes and A/C. It starts and I've only driven it around my lot so far. Cool thing was when I opened the glove box it has the original owners manual, full hand written service records since new, original dealer invoice, original shipping sheet showing all the options like a window sticker including the Warlock option, original warranty booklet, IBM card, dealer key tag, visor plastic wrap and more! The option sticker was missing under the hood, looked like it had fallen off but no, it was in the glovebox too! Cool truck that has mostly original paint, plenty of patina and the first year they made them. In '76 the factory decided to build a few Warlocks late in the year and it wasn't a regular production truck until '77. Wish I could find out how rare it really is. A 440 in a short box stepside aught to be fun too!

Here are the glovebox goodies! The shipping order form tells it all.

My '79 Power Wagon is really coming along. Already rust free so I'm concentrating on making reliable before paint. Installed Quality Power 150 amp alternator, and cleaned all the bulk head connections (already bypassed amp gauge). Headlights nice and bright and stay that way. Plus shouldn't be left stranded anywhere with bad alternator (I know I should install a voltmeter eventually). Also hope to eventually get brackets and pulleys for dual belts since I now have dual pulley alternator. Also cleaned up the carb linkage that was half-assed by previous owner and added extension lever and proper stud (thanks scratchnfortraction). Shift points MUCH improved and smoother pedal.

Hello, Truck-minded Mopartsfolk;

I am about to hit a milestone with this build. I thought I would share.

1965 D100 Utiline. Former push truck for a racing team in California. I have made contact with the original owner's son. I hope to get some pictures of the truck in action, supporting a team in the California sunshine.

Truck has the Custom interior option so, engine-turned pieces around gauge cluster and lower area of dash. I found a gauge panel from Mooneyes (I think) that comes close to the same pattern. We put new floors in, new carpet, tried to evict the wasps and bees....

Originally /6 NP435... is now: 1958 392 Hemi 2x4 with "spirited cam" from Gary Stauffer, custom-built headers, Tremec 5speed, American Powertrain clutch, flywheel, pressure plate. Now has Crown Victoria front suspension. Big disc brakes in front, rebuilt drum setup in rear (we had one helluva time getting the correct brake parts in the rear. Will probably change to rear discs after that horrific episode). 8 3/4.

Today, it headed out for front end alignment and some different wheels. These are stock Crown Vic cop car wheels in the pics. I am staying with the tires but American Racing has a wheel that looks better, has better offset and lets me use the same tires.

The Milestone is after years and years and many failed attempts, this sucker is (as of this posting) headed out on Hot Rod Power Tour with American Powertrain. Who knows, they may change their mind tomorrow but TODAY.... it hit the threshold for that journey in terms of trouble-free operation and that is a big, damned deal if you ask me.

The truck is very personal to me and my family. I purchased this truck the DAY my son was born. What was I doing shopping for cars when Momma is in labor? Well, I sent the email to a friend and transferred the funds while I was in the hospital. When I put my phone down, everybody was looking at me: "get your ass in here and help" ... I had never been to any birthing classes or anything. Like a bucket of fried chicken - I grabbed a leg and went at it.

I have attached some pics. Thanks for reading. Thanks for all the details and help over the years.

Wow, so COOL!!!!! I love it!!!! What a great truck and a great engine choice!!!!

My very first vehicle at 16 years old was a '67 D100 utiline short bed, poly 318, three-on-tree. What great memories. Same grille and everything as yours so really brings back some memories up

Cool truck indeed.

Reminds me of about 32 yrs ago where I ran a 392 in my 66 Town wagon.
Left the outside of the truck as is with dents and rust. Only pace that looked good was under the hood.
Embarrassed a blue mid 70's vet from a light one night in front of a crowd of street teens hanging out while working in Paducah, Ky.
I heard the locals road him pretty hard over that for a while.

I am new to this forum so I thought I would show my present dodges. The first is a 94 Cummins that I bought new. The second is (sissy truck) an 08 bought in 2010. The last is a 1934 Dodge K47 2 ton. I used a 76 Dodge B300 motorhome for the sub frame and rear axle. It has a 96 dodge 360 and auto from my son's retired pickup. This is a work in progress and almost ready for the sand blaster, body work and then paint.
